Chelsea hold positive talks for Welbeck and show interest in Henderson
Chelsea have reportedly held positive discussions regarding the potential signing of Brighton & Hove Albion striker Danny Welbeck. Reports indicate that personal terms have been agreed with the 35-year-old forward, who featured in 37 of Brighton’s 38 Premier League games last season.
Welbeck’s performance last season saw him score 13 goals, placing him joint-ninth among the league’s top scorers, with only three English players surpassing his tally. This output highlights his continued effectiveness as a forward. Beyond his goal-scoring ability, Welbeck is also known for his overall play, including his capacity to hold up the ball and involve teammates.
