Argentina’s World Cup campaign continues
Argentina is back in the World Cup 2026 quarter-finals, with hopes that Lionel Messi can lead them past Switzerland. The team experienced a significant challenge against Egypt in the previous round, securing a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory. Messi inspired the comeback, and Enzo Fernandez scored the winning goal in stoppage time.
