A key area of focus for Iraola and his backroom staff will be to improve Liverpool’s performance in set-piece situations. In the previous season, Liverpool conceded 23 set-piece goals. This figure was higher than only Bournemouth (26), Crystal Palace (25), and Leeds (24). Iraola expressed confidence in his coaching staff’s ability to address these issues, highlighting their shared understanding of the game and their specialized roles. The tour provides an opportunity for new players like Jeremy Jacquet to integrate, alongside returning faces such as Harvey Elliott and Kostas Tsimikas.
